Bangkok Thailand Pizza Review
La Gritta is a first class Italian resteraunt located just off Sukhumvit road in Bangkok. The inside of the resteraunt is first class and has two floors. They have a great wine list and the service is fantastic. At the left is a picture of Chef Marco, a real italian guy making real italian pizza in the heart of Asia. They have a great pizza oven on the first floor of the resteraunt that bakes the pizza to perfection. Chef Marco says his pizza at La Gritta is good, but not as good as the pizza in Naples.
At La Gritta, they have a really unique pizza called the "volcano" pizza. As you can imagine, it is in the shape of a volcano. The name is derived not just from the shape of the pizza but also from the fact that there are hot pepers in the base of the pizza. Pizza of the world had a wonderful picture of the "volcano" pizza, but it got erased by mistake from the digital camera. On our next visit to Bangkok we will get pictures of the famous "volcano" pizza.
